Vedran Golec
Vedran Golec trained and competed for over two decades at the highest international level — as 11-time Croatian Champion, Swiss Champion, and European Silver Medalist — while completing his MSc in Sport Science in parallel.

My Story
Born June 30, 1989 in Zagreb, Croatia
At the age of seven I discovered my passion for Taekwondo. What began at Taekwondo Klub Bjelovar in 1996 became an international career at the highest level of competition.
From 2005 to 2020 I had the honour of representing Croatia as a member of the national team in the cadets, juniors, and seniors categories. Between 2014 and 2020 I ranked consistently in the world top 10 and competed in over 150 international tournaments worldwide.
As 11-time Croatian Champion, Swiss Champion, and European Silver Medalist, I was also named a Croatian Olympic Committee candidate for the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Alongside my active competitive career, I completed my MSc in Sport Science.
Today, as a 3rd DAN Black Belt, I bring my international competition and training experience to Twist Taekwondo Zürich — with the mission of developing the next generation of athletes and strong individuals.

Azadeh Hosseinpour
Lead Trainer
5th DAN Black Belt · Sport University of Tehran
With over 25 years of experience in Taekwondo, Azadeh brings deep expertise to every session. Originally from Iran, she trained at the Sport University of Tehran and holds a 5th DAN black belt. She is also a certified fitness instructor with extensive experience in bodybuilding and aerobics.
As an experienced second-class referee, she guides the next generation of athletes with passion and commitment. At Twist Taekwondo she leads the youth division.
