About Twist Taekwondo
We empower children and teens through expert Taekwondo training that builds confidence, discipline, and character in a safe, supportive environment.
How It All Began
The Twist Taekwondo School was founded in 2005 by Sinisa Kostelac and registered as a member of Swiss Taekwondo. Since 2008 we have been officially organised as an association and a member of Versa.
Through passion, commitment, and continuous development, our club has grown steadily over the years. Our goal is to give children, teens, and adults a high-quality sporting education along with the values that matter — respect, discipline, and team spirit.
The club's official General Assembly takes place once a year.
We sincerely thank every member, parent, supporter, and sponsor for the trust and support shown to our club. Without you, none of this growth would have been possible.
Our Impact
Excellence at the Highest Level
We are very proud that our athletes have won multiple high-class international tournaments including Paris Open, Croatia Open, Serbian Open, Austria Open, Swedish Open, and many more.
Among our current and former athletes, Lorena Ortiz and Marko Mamuzic have earned medals at the Cadet and Senior European Championships.
Over ten of our students have held/hold the Swiss Olympic Talent Card, and several have completed/are completing the United School of Sports & Kunst- und Sportschule Zürich.
